Dr. Helon Law grew up in Vancouver and received his bachelor’s degree from UBC. He went on to study at Pacific University College of Optometry, where he graduated with distinction and was the recipient of the Dean’s Award. His optometric education also included an intensive ocular disease rotation at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the #1 ranked eye hospital in the USA.

As a practicing optometrist, he enjoys taking care of all manner of patients, including everyday primary care, ocular disease management, dry eye management, specialty contact lenses, and brain injury rehabilitation.

Dr. Law is passionate about taking a tailored, whole-person approach to better serve his patients. He loves finding new ways to improve his patients’ quality of life by maximizing their ocular health and visual function. Dr. Law is able to serve his patients in English and Cantonese. I am Dr. Heather Chin, Optometrist at Yaletown EyeCare. I enjoy working one and one with patients to solve their visual issues and provide thorough ocular health examinations.

I graduated from University of Waterloo’s Doctor of Optometry program in 2016 and have been practicing full scope optometry in private practice as well as working at ophthalmology offices refining my ocular health skills. I am confident in my ocular health and refractive skills and continue to learn everyday!

When I’m not working, I can be found at local spin and yoga studios, skiing or biking in the mountains or relaxing at home with my partner.

Dr. Regan Huynh was raised in Vaughan, a suburb just north of Toronto. Dr. Huynh graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry with Distinction at the University of Waterloo. During her final year of training, she completed an externship in Ocular Disease and Therapeutics in rural Manitoba where she gained clinical experience in the assessment and management of various eye conditions and diseases. Dr. Oliver Chong studied at the University of Waterloo in Ontario where he obtained his Bachelor of General Science (BSc) and Doctor of Optometry (OD) degrees. He has dedicated over two decades to providing eye exams in a friendly and caring manner to families and patients of all ages. Dr. Chong is passionate about always offering the very best care to all of his patients. He has also developed his knowledge and skills through previous work in both pediatric and senior specialty practices. Dr. Stephanie Aigbe received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario (2015) and her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO; 2020) in Boston, Massachusetts. Additionally, Stephanie completed a Low Vision Rehabilitation residency at NECO (2021), where she conducted independent research and worked in both unique and diverse clinical settings such as Perkins School for the Blind, Boston Medical Center, and NECO Center for Eye Care. Her optometry training involved clinical externships in Boston, Massachusetts, Sarnia, Ontario, and Veterans Affairs hospitals in Portland, Oregon and West Haven, Connecticut, where she worked alongside optometrists and ophthalmologists specializing in traumatic brain injury, ocular disease, and low vision rehabilitation. Stephanie has devoted years to research as a student and resident, studying myopia and the changing needs of low vision patients before and during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Her work has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Investigative Ophthalmology & Vision Science and presented at numerous conferences such as The Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Optometry.
